Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has introduced its latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone, the Redmi 14C, bringing premium features to the sub-Rs 10,000 segment. According to Xiaomi’s official website, this device combines performance, camera capabilities, and long-lasting battery life to meet the growing demands of budget-conscious consumers seeking 5G connectivity.
The Redmi 14C 5G is available in three configurations, as per Xiaomi’s official website: 4GB + 64GB: Rs 9,999 4GB + 128GB: Rs 10,999 6GB + 128GB: Rs 11,999 It is available in three attractive colour options: Starlight Blue, Stardust Purple, and Stargaze Black. These configurations make it an accessible choice for those seeking a budget-friendly 5G smartphone with varied storage needs.
As per Xiaomi’s official website, the Redmi 14C 5G features a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and responsive touch interactions. The device also comes with TÜV Rheinland certifications, including certifications for blue light emissions, flicker-free operation, and Circadian regulation, which aim to minimise eye strain during prolonged use.
Running on Android 14 with HyperOS, the Redmi 14C offers an easy-to-use interface. Xiaomi has also promised two major OS updates and four years of security updates, guaranteeing longer software support, as per Xiaomi’s official website. Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset (built on a 4nm process), this device is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM for faster performance. According to Xiaomi’s official website, users can also expand virtual RAM up to 12GB by using available storage.

The phone supports 18W fast charging and is bundled with a 33W charger (sold separately at Rs 1,999). Xiaomi claims that the device can deliver 21 days of standby time and 139 hours of music playback on a single charge.
